M.L. Soulster is the author of The Soulless Rising, a post-apocalyptic horror series set in the frozen ruins of West Michigan where the dead are hungry, the cold is merciless, and trusting the wrong person can make you somebody's cautionary tale.
Raised on Stephen King, George Romero, and Midwestern winters that felt personally motivated, Soulster developed a taste for dark stories and people who laugh when they probably ought to run. The Soulless Rising gives those people something to run from — and someone they can't bear to leave behind.
When not writing, Soulster can be found drinking too much coffee, arguing that fast zombies are absolute bullshit, and staring into a gray November sky while deciding which fictional person is about to have a very bad day.
Somewhere, a character just wished they'd been born in a romance novel.
